ISA works with the AFC indigenous Unit to develop production opportunities. This year ISA sought the support of Australian Screen Directors Association (ASDA) and the Australian Writers Guild (AWG) in a presentation to the FFC to seek funds for the National Indigenous Documentary Fund (NIDF).

The NIDF 8 has been completed and will be broadcast on the ABC later in 2007.

The NIDF is now in it’s nineth series and has been pre-sold to SBS. The series is being managed by the Indigenous Unit of the AFC.

Projects include;

A new round, NIDF 10 is currently being considered by ISA and the AFC Indigenous Unit.
