VISION STATEMENT ISA aims to maintain and promote Indigenous culture through the support of Indigenous filmmakers and their organisations.

OBJECTIVES

1. Encourage the professional development of Indigenous film & video practitioners through training and production opportunities.

2. Creating and lobbying toward greater production opportunity.

3. Facilitate and support a unified network of Indigenous film & video practitioners.

4. Promote and maintain Indigenous cultures through the production and dissemination of Indigenous film and video.

5. Support the long term implementation of national Indigenous television services.

6. Lobby for the appropriate archiving of, and access to moving images of Indigenous Australians.
